In the past many research results were complex and not easily presented in a form that practitioners could use, thus it took years for valuable knowledge to reach the appropriate audience. DOE-2 software is probably one of them. For the experienced architects and engineers with energy performance knowledge. the main difficulty is to organise input files. Judgement and experience in a university library ,one of the largest tertiary libraries in New Zealand ,and provide a comparison of the simulated and measured results for this building .
