STUDY ON SOME PROBLEMS OF IAQ IN HIGH GRADE OFFICE

In this paper, we investigated some high-level air conditioning buildings, including office building ,government large building and block of flats ,and several main indoor contaminants and indoor microclimate parameter such as temperature , humidity ,atmosphere and air flow velocity were measured . Test results indicated that serious problems of indoor air quality existed in those buildings, as well as, reasons which caused poor indoor quality were made up of manifold factors, not single one, as follows:

(1) Building and decorative materials become one of main pollution sources .

(2)Distribution of airflow patterns in most of air conditioning rooms is not rational because of bad air conditioning design.

(3)Fresh air rate and air change rate are not enough.

(4)The operation and management of air conditioning system are poor.

so how to increase indoor air quality ,providing a health and comfortable indoor environment for the people working in those magnificent office building is an urgent and challenging task for the air conditioning designer.
