THE DYNAMIC SIMULATION ON SHAPE AND DAYLIGHT AVAILABILITY FOR OFFICE BUILDING ENERGY EFFICIENT DESIG

Nowadays, Energy-efficient buildings design is a very important problem for some cities, which have uncomfortable climate. According to the climate of hot summer and cold winter region, this paper put forward some design methods on shape and daylight availability for office building. With the help of the building energy simulation computer program DOE-2, we have done some dynamic simulations, which emphasize on natural daylighting. This paper presents some believable and operational design methodology for office building energy-saving design.
