Sustainable Built Environment Education in China and Developing Countries

Situation of construction in China and developing countries is reviewed and analysed. Urgent needs for Sustainable Built Environment in construction are identified. Education and knowledge transfer is found to be a key factor in realising Sustainable Built Environment. Current educational status in China is presented and found not to be suitable for this progress. Initiatives of reforming of building education system are reviewed. Future trends and efforts of the authors in Sustainable Built Environments are presented.
