STAGED VARIABLE AIR VOLUME AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEM AND ITS APPLICATION IN STORES

<P>At present, all-air constant volume central air conditioning system is widely used in store buildings. However, this kind of air conditioning system has its own disadvantages.<BR>A new form of air conditioning system which can appropriately reduce energy consumption and improve indoor air quality is put forward in this paper，namely, staged variable air volume air conditioning system made up of a conventional constant volume air conditioning system and a variable volume fresh air system. Both volumes are less than summer design value separately，but their sum is bigger than it. Main advantage of this system is:<BR>1. Energy saving.
